Study of Dynamic Sorption in Adsorption Refrigeration Cycle

This paper shows the characteristics of temperature and adsorbed (water vapor) mass rate distribution in adsorber unit which is key part to any adsorption refrigeration system. The profiles adsorption/desorption phases (Dynamic Sorption) are measured experimentally under operating conditions 90oC hot water temperature, 30oC cooling 35oC cycle time 40 min. Based on profiles, transfer equations for annulus adsorbent bed solved obtain velocity adsorbate concentration using non-equilibriummodel. relation between with investigated during process adsorption. practical cycles desorption were stated dependent variables obtained from experiment calculations.The results show that diminished after a period 20 maximum value vapor silica gel 0.12 kg water/kg (adsorption phase) minimum content into 0.04 (desorption producing dynamic sorption adsorbent.
